About the game

SkyWars is a mobile action-strategy game developed solo by Pierre Lefevre. Born from experiments with OpenGL and the creation of a custom engine, the project relies on detailed physics and fully handcrafted systems. Every element of the game — objects, vehicles, enemies — follows dynamic rules that interact with each other, giving rise to endless possible solutions for completing a level.

The player can modify, upgrade, and reprogram their equipment to adapt their strategy to each challenge. This open evolution system makes every victory a unique creation, born of experimentation and ingenuity.

SkyWars aims to deliver a deep and replayable experience, where understanding the mechanics, creativity, and technical mastery are the keys to success.

Universe

In SkyWars, humanity has built an organization dedicated to interdimensional exploration: OMEGA. Through a network of portals, it sends teams to other worlds to collect resources, knowledge, and technology. But one day, when opening a new portal, something unexpected happens: hostile machines cross it.

These robots, equipped with colossal firepower, crush local defenses before a counterattack can be organized. Within hours, they seize the main island — the nerve center of operations — and expand their control to most connected worlds.

Among the defenders was an elite agent, one of the organization’s best. During the assault, he manages to infiltrate the enemy mothership and extract its invasion plans. Aware that the battle is lost, he transmits this vital data aboard an emergency rocket — a secret protocol designed for total collapse scenarios. The rocket passes through a portal and reaches an isolated base, undetected by the enemy.

This is where the player’s adventure begins: as the only survivor aware of the coming threat, tasked with rebuilding defenses, analyzing the data, and preparing the counterattack to reclaim the worlds fallen to the machines.

About the studio

Pierre LEFEVRE is a solo developer based in Paris. Passionate about Android technology since its early days, he learned OpenGL and shaders to build a custom engine. He cultivates an artisanal approach to game development: creating, learning, and sharing. SkyWars is, to date, his most ambitious project.
